MUSIC

navxja as a musical persona was first conceptualized around 2016, with the release of her first songs on SoundCloud. These songs were recorded with a phone and edited on Audacity, representing early attempts and explorations of fun. Between 2016 and 2018, a compilation of tracks about youthful love was uploaded.

In 2019, there was a significant leap in quality with the release of the EP Canciones tristes para volver a casa, first published on Bandcamp and later made available on streaming services. During lockdown, the single “Lunes de Cuarentena” gained attention and marked the first step into joining Snap!Clap!Club, an independent music label based in Barcelona.

With the new label came the debut single Limao, which earned over 1.5M streams, followed by the release of the EP Amor de Verano, a self-produced work developed during the Those Kids residency. Other releases include the EP Nada Especial and the debut album Un Bloody Mary por favor.

All of these projects feature a strong narrative concept, a storytelling dive into feelings, memories, reflections, and fears. Recurring themes revolve around the self, growing up, love, loss, and navigating these human processes as a form of self-therapy and expression.

Through this project, the artist has performed live in venues across Spain, including Razzmatazz, Autoplacer, Siroco, Sala El Sol, Sala VOL, Electropura, La Copera, Planta Baja, Veranos de la Villa de Madrid, Maravillas Club, Pride Madrid, Pride BCN, and was a finalist in the Rookies Movistar contest. In the Netherlands, WORM hosted her first concert in the country.

The musical format is one of the artist’s favorite means of expression, approaching the concepts explored in her works with grace, vulnerability, and care.

All of these projects have been independently produced, mastered, and published.

This project is currently evolving into something more experimental after a short hiatus.
